Established in 1996, Fearnley Day Nursery has a longstanding reputation for excellence. In 2023, our current Nursery Manager took over leadership, bringing a deep commitment to providing outstanding care for every child in our setting.
Our dedicated and experienced staff are encouraged to develop their skills and knowledge in many different areas, including Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Health & Safety, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and Basic Food Hygiene.
Our nursery is ideally located just off Cleckheaton Road on Belmont Avenue in a quiet residential area of Bradford, West Yorkshire. We welcome visits from all families who wish to look around. We offer 15 to 30 hours of free funded places for children from 9 months old, as well as for eligible 2-, 3-, and 4-year-olds.

Age groups
We care for children from birth to five years old. Our rooms are divided by age groups;
Caterpillar Room: 0–2 years
Ladybird Room: 2–3 years
Butterfly Room: 3–5 years
Helpful tips
Activities and play: We provide a variety of engaging activities and play areas, including a mark-making area, a computer corner, a home corner, and a large outdoor play space.
Wellbeing: Our staff are devoted to meeting each child’s physical needs and nurturing their emotional development. We ensure children feel both secure and independent through warm, attentive care and stimulating experiences.
Playrooms: Our baby and toddler rooms are situated on the ground floor for easy access, with our pre-school room located on the first floor. All rooms are fitted with air conditioning to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the year.
